1) What am I working on? Heart of Vengeance – sequel to Heart of Fire – It ties my last two books together.
My first book was the crossroads and I have received five star reviews on it.

2) How does my work differ from others of its genre? I write lesbian fiction. My story lines are in the nature of romantic adventure, suspense, thriller, detective, and crime. What makes them different is only the perception of what a person sees as the norm. 3) Why do I write what I do? I love to write. Since I was a child it had consumed most of my time. I love to lose myself within the characters. I feel what they feel and live within that moment with them. It is also a way to give back to our community and I pray they enjoy what I write.
4) How does my writing process work? I do not have a set process. I can be walking down the street and a scene comes to me. I usually write it down right away. However, when I write, I do not see the screen or the keyboard. I am seeing what they see, I see what they feel and I narrate the story.

At first I didn’t like any of the characters, I found’em too cocky or screwed up. But as I kept reading something about them started to make sense. By the end I was so absorbed in the story I didn’t see the end coming at all. Now I’m left with a one question: will there be a sequel?

I saw this advertised on facebook and thought I would buy the kindle version so if it is not a good book, I would not be not be out much money. I wish I would have bought book. This is a keeper. So, I will order the book because I want to read this again. I want to turn the pages. I started to read it as a way to fall asleep. I never got to sleep. I could not stop reading it. There was a good mix of dialogue with description which kept this flowing so nice. The love sense were amazing, and the most important part was I could relate with the characters. I can see them as real, not these fictional made up/never going to exist stories that leaving you feeling cheated. Ms. Carter, thank you for a great book, I saw from the back of the book you have another book coming out. I like what I read so far of it. I will be watching for it. A++++ author.

I was amazed how well this story flowed. I couldn’t stop reading it, and that is rare for me. I have read so many books over the years, some good, some okay and some poorly written. This is one of the best I have read in a long time. I look forward to the next book HEART OF FIRE. The few chapters you inserted at the end of the book drew me in right away and I can’t wait to read it. When will it be available?
